After firing the employees, when the boss and madam tried to dismiss Weseongrak, he again sexually harassed the madam. Enraged, the boss cursed and struck Weseongrak's face with a liquor bottle, accusing him of not having eyes. In response, Weseongrak grabbed an ashtray, but Jangcheon stopped him. Despite apologizing and offering to finish his drink and leave, the boss continued to verbally abuse him. This led Jangcheon to strike the boss with a glass, instructing Weseongrak to do as he pleased.
Meanwhile, provoking unnecessarily in Chinese, they were retaliated against by Sekdo, who pressed hard near the collarbone. Sekdo's strength came out significantly stronger than when facing a regular opponent because not only had they disrupted the order of Garibong, but they had also directly attacked Hongseok, their youngest detective...
Up to this point, Sekdo hadn't been too late yet, and Jangcheon offered to help him get out of Korean prison easily, suggesting that if he followed the Public Security Bureau, he would be immediately executed. It is presumed that the drugs originally belonged to Sekdo's party.
The name is Kwak Deok-tae. It is revealed from his own bankbook handed over to Jangcheon.
Initially, it was agreed to give 500 million, but Jangcheon demanded 1 billion. Then, since it was the first deal for the original boss, they had to take out insurance, so they agreed to give 100 million as an advance payment and persuaded them to give the rest as soon as Chunshikpa was removed. In fact, Jangcheon lied that he removed Chunshikpa and prepared to remove Chunshik but was discovered by Hongseok, so he fled. Eventually, both Boss Kwak and Boss Won ended up being cheated by Jangcheon.
And in fact, at that time, Boss Kwak had already aligned himself with Boss Hwang by promising to settle Seokdo's debt to him, thus making himself on Boss Hwang's side.
The phrase "w? cao n? m?" translates to "fuck your mother," meaning "you son of a bitch" or "your mom is a whore." In the subtitles, it appears as "This fucking bastard!"
When offered to treat them to drinks and meat, Byeongsik said there's a restaurant nearby, leading them to a (familiar) lamb skewer restaurant next door and smoothly mentioning, "There's also a private room here." When Onggyun asked, "Where's the private room?" the shop owner next to them promptly replied, "Here's the private room!" surprising Maseokdo, who had not expected it.
Taking place four years after the background of the first episode in 2004, it starts in 2008.
The snacks mentioned here are Filipino snacks called "Pineuts."
When Janggu bites Maseokdo's fist with his teeth, it leads to a comedic line, "Why are you biting, zombie?"
While technically correct that they inflicted excessive force resulting in facial submersion while subdued, describing it as if the police were gangsters is exaggerated. Moreover, the picture showing Maseokdo collecting evidence with a knife and calling the police while holding a knife gives the impression of a gang leader who had been stabbed. It's not wrong, but it's misleading...
O Donggyun's father was a Vietnam War veteran, and Kang Hongseok practically offered to go with almost the level of a romantic relationship between men. The youngest, Kim Sanghoon, either because of his personality or inability to lie, just said he'll do his best.
In the end, Junilmann, who was frustrated with this countryside drama and didn't even become a class leader(?), boasted his English skills to accompany them as an interpreter. Ironically, despite being considered not very impressive, his appearance made both Maseokdo and Junilmann detained at the airport by Vietnamese police.
When Maseokdo and Maseokdo meet eyes with three muscular gangsters, sensing that they recognize him as a policeman, they hurriedly pick up money, saying, "Is it Maseokdo?" and flee. Looking closely, the gangster who recognizes Maseokdo is the one who used to throw eggs at the detectives in the first episode.
Outdoor cane machete is a type of machete called "Jungle Doin" commonly seen in Southeast Asian regions like Vietnam or Thailand, similar in shape to a machete or dao. It is used for chopping wood or cutting hard coconuts. Then a Korean gangster, Lakku, takes it out.
The plan was set by Kang Haesang, but they were in an employer-employee relationship, not a subordinate relationship.
When Gang Haesang was confronted by Kim Gibaek for not only the money but also the killing, Yuik warned that they were just rookies, ridiculing them. Angered, Kim Gibaek threatened Gang Haesang, saying, "If it weren't for Mr. Choi's money, you'd be dead by now!" However, when Dooik pulled out a knife and threatened the gang, the atmosphere became tense.
Afterwards, receiving the news from Jonghun that Gibaek's whereabouts are unknown, it's inevitable since Gibaek is already dead and buried.
Seeing the situation, Jonghun tries to persuade Maseokdo to surrender to Korea, but when Maseokdo refuses to surrender, Jonghun tries to physically push him out of the consulate.
It appears that they mainly operated gambling dens.
It should be noted that when O Donggyun was dragged into the car, the other gangsters laughed and joked about receiving money...
The amount, 200 million dollars, is a huge sum, exceeding 20 billion Korean won.
O Donggyun collapses like an escalator, Maseokdo, who was upstairs, tries to avoid it by crawling back, but the escalator keeps going up, a small gag scene where the bed Maseokdo sits on spins around. Then he turns off the switch, but it's the wrong one.
Fortunately, the police officers who attempted to shoot the Korean gangster who was holding a lighter fluid and a lighter used to threaten them didn't shoot because he was unarmed, but just then, a Korean gangster in another place set fire to the lighter fluid and the warehouse caught fire. |
